ROUND 3 COMPS – July 22, 2014
Hey you guys! On this round, I sort of re-worked the spectrum – the angle of it, etc. A little different, since instead of one big tooth, the spectrum is striking smaller teeth. The question was, how and where to orient the ‘reflection’ of the spectrum.
Also, I was trying to sort of create a ‘roof’ shape above the teeth –
just a balance of the angles on each side, to give it some symmetry:
- the brush forming the left side of the ‘tent’
- the angle of the rainbow forming the right side of the ‘roof’
These are the variables (things to look out for / differences) on these versions:
BACKGROUND COLOR or BKGRND image:
- Black
- White
- “Dental Chart” – there’s only 1 in this group; the very last one, with black background, and I’ve turned it sideways in this version, to enclose / encase the logo. I wanted to focus on getting the teeth / brush / lettering / spectrum dialed in and not get distracted by the chart in the background. I look at the chart as more of a logo-condiment, than as part of the logo. Maybe we won’t even use the chart? Or maybe selectively.
- Colors backgrounds:
- Blue-gray;
- Green/black fade;
- Purple/black fade;
- darkblue/black fade
Color of “SPECTRUM”: Gray, White or Rainbow color
