Demo Reel: Cascadia International Women’s Film Festival Promotional Shorts

This video shows the first four concepts I presented to the Cascadia International Women’s Film Festival, celebrating its 10th Anniversary in May of 2026, hosted by the Pickford Film Cinema in Bellingham, Washington. This animation/video project was art-directed by board member Valerie Dalena and involved creating 15 and 30-second promotional shorts, utilizing the festival’s branded image of a silhouetted woman with multi-colored film-strip hair.

The static film strip woman logo was animated and masked using AI. Real photos and videos I took of the Pickford Cinema in early 2026 are montaged with AI-generated footage, combined with effects and graphics in the video editor. The funkier music I wrote, produced and recorded; some of the music is stock audio. In the final video, we used Vivaldi.
